West Central Ag Services makes home in Perham

West Central Ag Services has opened a new office in Perham.

While the company has operated in the area under the name Triangle Ag LCC for quite some time, it will now have a home office to better serve customers. It will also now be known as West Central Ag Services.

Effective Nov. 1, the company's new office building is open for business in the former Red Line building just off 450th Street.

Within the next month, the public will begin to see the signs of change as new signs are displayed.

West Central Ag Services is a full line agriculture supply company, with services that include spraying, fertilizer supplies and crop insurance, to name a few. It will also carry multiple lines of seed, including Asgrow Dekalb, Dynagrow, Croplan and many more.

With a strong national reputation and financial backing, the company has become known as a leader in the agriculture business. Within the nation, it's known as the fastest growing agriculture company.

Considering the nature of its co-op status, profits are allocated directly back to the customer.

The sales volume in the agronomy division alone is $120 million. For the folks at West Central, that means the company will be there for farmers they do business with.

Lennie Holmer, who has done business in the area with Triangle Ag, will be the sales agronomist for West Central Ag Services in the Perham office. Holmer has been in the business for nearly 20 years.

Brian Sazama will be the operations manager at the location.

"We made a commitment to town to be a local supply center, hiring local people with large company backings," said Wes Roll as Chief Operations Officer for West Central Ag.

West Central Ag Services currently has grain-handling facilities in Ulen, Ada, Felton and Glyndon.

It also has C-Stores in Ulen, Halstad, Ada, and Harwood, N.D., as well as bulk fuel delivery, and Service Shops located in Ulen and Ada.
