The Stark County Sheriff's Office has confirmed there was a bomb threat at Dickinson State University at about 10:15 this morning.

"Right now, they're in the process of evacuating," SCSO Sgt. Gary Kuhn said at about 11 a.m.

May Hall, Stickney Hall and Kleinfelter Hall were evacuated, DSU Director of University Relations Marie Moe said. Everyone was told to go to the Student Center.

Midterms are this week and a student, who would not give her name, said she was on the second floor in May Hall and an official told the class to go to the Student Center.

A deputy told a reporter on scene that "her life was in danger."

However, Moe said classes are back in session at 1 p.m.
