Park Rapids woman seriously injured in rollover crash

AKELEY, Minn. – A Park Rapids woman was seriously injured when an SUV she was driving rolled near here early Sunday morning, the State Patrol reported.

Cindy L. Lundmark, 56, was traveling westbound on Highway 34 about 2 a.m. when she left the road, drove into a ditch, and then hit a field approach, causing her 2010 Jeep to roll and come to rest on its roof, the patrol reported.

A Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher said deputies said Lundmark was taken from the scene by air ambulance. The dispatcher said she did not know where Lundmark was taken to be treated.

The Akeley Police Department also responded to the scene of the crash, the patrol reported.
