A rural Parkers Prairie man was seriously injured Saturday after a tractor he was driving tipped over and rolled down a hill.

Roman Koep, 72, was driving a tractor on the side of a hill when it tipped onto its side and rolled down, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

Koep’s son, Dustin, found his father and called for help. The incident occurred near 500th Avenue at about 8:30 a.m.

The sheriff’s office said Koep’s injuries are believed to be life threatening. He was taken to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.
