Motorcyclist injured after colliding with van
A 53-year-old woman was sent to the Perham Hospital with non-life threatening injuries Friday afternoon after the BMW Motorcycle she was driving collided with a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country van.
The van, driven by James Carlton Worner, 74, of Battle Lake, was travelling north on Highway 78, when it slowed to make a left-hand turn onto Midway Park Lane. According to reports, when the van was making the turn, it collided with the motorcycle, driven by Melody Francine Webb, of Fergus Falls, which was travelling south on Highway 78.
Worner was not injured—he was wearing his seatbelt. Webb was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
According to reports, alcohol was not a factor in the crash, which occurred on dry pavement.
