Three injured in two-car crash on Highway 10

Three people were transported to the Tri-County Hospital Monday afternoon with non-life threatening injuries after a two-car crash on Highway 10.

At approximately 12:27 p.m. a Chevrolet was travelling eastbound on the highway, approaching the entrance of a business, when a Ford Explorer, driven by Allysa Joy Kimber, 18, of Hewitt, pulled out of the business parking lot and was struck on the passenger side by the Chevrolet.

The driver of the Chevrolet was Nicole Lunn Vanorsel, 38, of New York Mills, travelling with a two-year-old passenger, Aven Keith Vanorsdel.

The crash occurred on dry pavement and all involved were wearing seatbelts. There was no alcohol involved in the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol report.
