Motorcyclist escapes serious injury after landing on roof of SUV in crash near Alexandria
ALEXANDRIA - A motorcyclist escaped serious injury Tuesday when he rear-ended an SUV and landed on top of the vehicle, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
According to the patrol:
Both vehicles were west-bound on State Highway 27 east of Alexandria about 8:46 p.m. when the 2003 Kawasaki cycle driven by 32-year-old Nathan R. Evans of Osakis struck the back of a 2004 Ford Explorer.
The motorcycle impaled the rear window of the Explorer, and Evans landed on its roof.
Evans was taken to Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria for non-serious injury, the patrol said.
Two people in the Explorer weren't injured.
