Stolen vehicle spotted in Perham, man arrested

What started as the theft of a vehicle in the Twin Cities area ended with the arrest of a suspect after the stolen vehicle was spotted in Perham.

The incident began Sept. 24 when the suspect, 32-year-old Paul Wayne Krause of Arden Hills, Minn., reportedly took a motor vehicle from an apartment parking lot in Bloomington, just south of the Twin Cities, court records show.

Law enforcement personnel in Perham later located a vehicle that matched the description of the stolen vehicle. Krause was arrested, and also was cited for driving after revocation of his driver’s license.

Krause appeared in Otter Tail County District Court last Thursday. His next court appearance has been scheduled for Oct. 7.
