New Life Farms broken into

Tools and turkey nesting equipment were stolen from a New Life Farms building near Perham last weekend.

According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, an employee reported a break-in on May 4.

Several items of value were stolen, including a three-drawer tool chest, a four-drawer tool chest, a DeWalt 18-volt drill and other miscellaneous tools. Also taken were nest control boards used in turkey nesting, each valued at $600.

The burglary, according to sheriff’s Lt. Matt McGuire, took place late in the evening hours of May 3 or the early morning hours of May 4.

An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
