Community meetings set to discuss future of the HUB
Community meetings are being held to gather public input for the HUB project, with one being held Tuesday, Jan. 23 at noon and another Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 7 a.m., both at the Perham Area Community Center. Phase one of the project is complete, with committees being formed, ideas being generated and funding options being explored. Project Coordinator Emily Dryer says the ideas for the first phase was to get some background on costs and viability of some of the options, but now it's time for the public to weigh in.
"Our next step is to bring everyone together," she said, adding that they're looking for ideas on where to go from here, whether or not it should happen, how important is it and how it should be funded.
"This is a community project," said Dryer, "and we need all members of the community to contribute to solutions, volunteer their talents and influence the outcome of the project."
If you are unable to attend the meetings and have solutions to share, please feel free to reach out via email at email@example.com.
