The annual Arbor Day observation in the city of Perham has been set for Saturday, May 4.

Residential property owners may sign up for free boulevard trees at Service Food, Dean’s Country Market, Thrifty White Drug and the city office. Sign-ups will be taken now until April 15.

All Perham residential property owners are eligible to sign up for trees at no cost.

Planting will be done by volunteers on May 4. Once the trees are in place, property owners will be responsible for watering the trees.

An Arbor Day committee member will be contacting all those who sign up between April 15 and May 4.

For more information, contact the city office at 346-4455.
