Rural Perham murder: Pipe wrench reportedly used in brutal killing of mother, son

The Lady Slipper Garden Club's annual plant sale will be held on Saturday, June 5. The sale is held at Perham's NP Park, next to the Post Office.

Sales will be from 8 a.m. until gone, rain or shine.

Perennials have been selected from the gardens of club members; some members have started special annuals from seed for the occasion. Some of the plants featured this year will be hostas, daylilies, Russian sage, grasses, plus much more.

This is an opportunity for amateur and experienced gardeners to add well-tested varieties to their landscape and to help support the work of the Lady Slipper Garden Club. Master Gardeners will also be available to help answer any questions.

Their projects include the Courtyard of Caring at Perham Memorial Hospital and Home and plantings at the history museum and other public locations. They also donated money to the 4-H Children's Garden at the fairgrounds.
