Volleyball Awards

The Perham volleyball team capped off their season with an awards banquet last month. The Yellowjackets finished the season 13-11 (6-3 HOL). In addition to individual awards, the team finished 4th in the State (All Classes) in Team G.P. A. with a 3.93. The Jackets were also an Academic Team Gold Award recipient.

Elisa Moenkedick, the team's lone senior, was named Team M.V.P., Heart O' Lakes All-Conference, All-State Academic (3.8 or higher), Hardest Worker, Coaches Award, had the Most Kills (239), Most Blocks (49), and Most Aces (50).

Also honored were HOL Honorable Mention All-Conference players Kelli Meehl and Katrina Moenkedick; Most Digs: Kaylan Huber (326); Spirit Award: Kelli Meehl; Most Improved: Brooke Mickelson.

The New York Mills volleyball team also handed out season awards last month. The Eagles finished 9-12-1 overall, 3-4 in the Park Region Conference. Sophomore Alicia Boe was named Team M.V.P.
