Powered by wins from five ranked wrestlers and aided by three forfeits, the Frazee Hornets picked up a 51-18 win over New York Mills at the Sports Center Tuesday night.

Frazee is ranked No. 3 in Class A with seven ranked individuals: Trevor Stilke (#5-103), Tanner Ellenberg (#5-119), Bruce Lemon (#9-125), Myrel Schermerhorn (#9-130), Rij Koehnen (#8-140), Jake Schermerhorn (#10-152), and Kody Lafraniere-Sorenson (#4-189).

The Eagles three wins came from their ranked wrestlers and all were pins. No. 2 Shane Novak had a first period pin at 103 pounds. His older brother Jordan, who is climbing the school's all-time wins list and is ranked No. 4, also had a first period pin at 140.

Jordan now has 152 wins and is ranked sixth on the list of Eagle greats. He needs five more wins to tie Jared Hotakainen.

Landyn Saewert, now ranked No. 2 at heavyweight, had a second period fall to end the match.

One of the better matches of the night was at 125 pounds where Maison Roberts gave No. 9 Lemmon all he could handle before coming up short in a 6-4 decision.

The Hornets are now 8-40 overall in their history against New York Mills.

BOF Invite in Perham
