Yellowjackets drop first home meet

Perham dropped their first home tennis meet to the Minnewaska Lakers 6-1.

The lone win came from the number three doubles team of Krueger and Daniels 6-2 and 7-5.

"Minnewaska has always been a tough competitor. They give a good match every year," Head Coach Kyle Knutson said.

"They just hit the ball better than we did today but our kids are still excited about the season. They will bounce back and give Staples the best they have got," he said.

The Yellowjackets host Staples on Thursday at 5 p.m.
