Eagles streak snapped at 13

The New York Mills Eagles boys basketball team was on a roll of 13 consecutive wins before Ulen-Hitterdal came to town leaving with a 60-54 victory.

The Spartans defense had their eyes on Adam Snelgrove and Isaiah Bauck, holding Snelgrove to 10 points and Bauck to nine.

Snelgrove cooled off from the field after a hot streak the past few games. He shot 4-14 from the field, 28.6 percent.

Bauck shot only 3-12 from the field, 25 percent.

Tanner Wegscheid led the Eagles in scoring from his guard position with 11 points.

Tristan Huwe had 10 points but fouled out limiting his production.

NY Mills' win streak reached 13 games after an early week victory over Verndale, 70-60.

Snelgrove led with 19 points. Bauck and Huwe were their typical selves shooting each scoring 16 points.

Bauck had a double double adding 14 rebounds to his 16 points. He also had three assists before fouling out.
