NY Mills Pacesetter camp held

New York Mills held a Pacesetter volleyball camp with 23 area players participating.

Davis Lamppa, the head coach of the Vermilion Community College Ironwomen volleyball team, directed the camp guiding players through the Pacesetter "Fundamentals for Champions" teaching program and monitored action in league play.

Players in each session voted for the most improved and most valuable player.

In the senior division, grades 10-12, Alex Lubits. of Perham, was named most improved. Tori Kempenich, of NY Mills was named most valuable.

In the junior division, grades 7-9, LeAnn Flanigan, of NY Mills won the most improved award. Ellie Rutten, of NY Mills, was voted most valuable.
