Harlem Ambassadors in town for Kinship's 16th anniversary

The Ambassadors set themselves apart from other "Harlem-style" basketball teams by working with local organizations and holding shows as community fundraising events.

The internationally acclaimed Harlem Ambassadors will be visiting Perham for a game at Prairie Wind Middle School Mon., Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.

The game will be part of Kinship's 16th anniversary celebration.

Tickets are $7 for students and seniors and $9 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at Bremer Bank, United Community Banks, Perham Chamber of Commerce and BP Gas in Perham.

The Harlem Ambassadors offer a unique brand of Harlem-style basketball featuring high-flying slam-dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks and hilarious comedy routines.

The Ambassadors will take on the Kinship Krammers, a group of local athletes.

For Perham's event, the Ambassadors have partnered with Kinship to help raise funds for mentoring children in the community.
