Head Coach Dave Cresap recorded his 400th career victory and the Perham Yellowjackets improved to 11-1 after a 71-33 victory at Frazee.

Perham sprinted out to a 31-15 advantage and upped it to 37-17 at halftime.

Scoring was spread around four ways between the starting five.

Mark Schumacher led the Yellowjackets with 17 points. Jordan Anderson scored 15; Jordan Bruhn added 13; Jordan Cresap scored a dozen.

Cresap and Anderson shot 50 percent from three-point land. Anderson was 3-6; Cresap was 2-4. Josh Nordick made two of his three attempts in a game the Yellowjackets shot 8-18 as a whole from downtown.

The Yellowjackets shot 59 percent from the field (29-49). They were 5-12 from the free throw line.

Bruhn had a double-double with 10 assists to go with his 13 points scored.

Notably down, from the past stretch of games, was the number of team fouls. Perham has finished a number of games this season with a starter on the bench in foul trouble or fouled out.

Against the Hornets, Perham tallied only seven total team fouls.

In fact, the Hornets only got to the free throw line twice, both attempts by Daniel Janu, which he made.

Daniel Janu, 17 points, and Cody Nordquist combined for 25 of the Hornets' 33 points.

Janu, Frazee's six-foot-six senior center, attempted 19 shots in the game, making seven. No other Hornet shot more than four times.

Perham is undefeated in the Heart O' Lakes Conference at 5-0 and hold a game and one-half lead over second place Pelican Rapids (9-3, 3-1).

Coach Cresap will be honored for his 400th victory at Thursday's home game versus Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton.
