OTTERTAIL -- Thumper Pond Golf Course in Ottertail is pleased to announce that Dave Sadlowsky, PGA, has begun his tenure as the PGA Head Golf Professional at the par 72-championship course.

Sadlowsky, originally from Avon, Minnesota, attended Moorhead State University and has a background in Construction Management.

Golf was always a passion for Sadlowsky and he began repairing clubs in his basement workshop in 1996.

Turning his hobby in to a career he opened a repair shop at The Ponds at Battle Creek in Maplewood, Minnesota, in 2004.

A four-year position as PGA 1st Assistant Golf Professional at the members-only Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie was the next step toward where Sadlowsky finds himself today.

Sadlowsky is a certified club repair technician, club-fitter and a teacher that prefers to coach the game in a way that produces long-term success as well as enjoyment.

"I'm excited about the opportunities at Thumper Pond to expand the golf programs as well as the awareness of this course in the region," says Sadlowsky, "My wife, Jill, and our two boys are excited to be a golfing family in the Ottertail area."
