DENT -- The Dent Wildcats kicked off the Countryside League playoffs with a 15-2 victory over the Frazee Flames Wednesday evening in the tournament's play-in game.

By the end of the fifth inning, the Wildcat lead was about as comfortable as it can get at 15-0.

Frazee added two runs late but the game was called by the seven-inning mercy rule.

Eric Weller went 3-5 at the plate, scoring four times with one RBI. Isaac Stoll was 2-5 with three RBI.

Ronning pitched five innings on the mound and was 2-3 at the plate with one RBI and scored twice.
