PERHAM -- Heart O' Lakes Conference foe and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton defeated Perham in a game that does not count in the conference standings.

The Rebels are ranked No. 15 in Class 2A and defeated Perham 3-0, by consistent set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-16.

"Service errors continue to plague (us)," Perham Head Coach Dan Christenson said.

Perham missed nine serves giving up nearly one-third of a set in free points to D-G-F.

Junior outside hitter Tina Scheidecker returned to the lineup after missing two weeks due to illness.

"It was nice to get Tina back," Christenson said.

Scheidecker had six digs and one ace in the match.

Miranda Lockhart led the Yellowjackets with 10 kills, an assist, two blocks and four digs.

Perham returns to action tonight, Thursday, Sept. 27 in the fourth annual Cancer Awareness match versus Frazee.

All money raised will go to the American Cancer Society - Silent Auction, Split the pot, serving contest, and other activities are planned for the game.

Merchants from both Perham and Frazee donated items for the auction.
