Final regular season HOL football statistics

The Hawley Nuggets and Detroit Lakes Lakers finished Heart O' Lakes Conference play with unblemished records to take sole possession of the Classic and Northern divisions.

Pelican Rapids, after losing their opener to Perham, won five straight HOL games to finished alone in second. The Yellowjackets finished alone in second, as well, with only one loss coming to the champion Lakers.

Hawley dominated in points for (344) and points allowed (84) while allowing a conference low 1,400 yards against. The Nuggets were the only team to surpass the 3,000 total yards gained mark with 3,272.

Roseau's Alex Ziegler led the conference in passing with 1,232 yards, 16 TDs and seven INTs.

Warroad's Kedon Sweetney led the HOL in rushing with 1,604 yards, 7.9 yards per carry and 24 TDs. Sweetney scored 170 points to lead the HOL.

Crookston's Josh Edlund was second in rushing with 1,390 yards, 18 TDs and an average of 8.5 yards per carry. Edlund was second in scoring with 114 points.

Breckenridge's Parker Busse caught 30 passes for 353 yards and two touchdowns. Hawley's Ben Ellefson had 19 grabs, 10 of them went for six points. Roseau's Tanner Okeson had the most yards receiving with 546.

Busse also led the HOL in tackles with 70.5.

Perham's Josh Nordick's five interceptions led the HOL.

Warroad's AJ Lerma had a HOL-high seven sacks.
