PERHAM -- By the time Eli Beachy sank a basket at the halftime buzzer the Frazee Hornets were in deep trouble heading to the break down 20 points, 33-13.

Perham was less kind in the second half allowing only nine points from the Hornets in a 60-22-blowout victory Monday evening.

Jordan Hein did not miss a shot attempt scoring a game-high 17 points to go with eight rebounds.

Beachy scored 12 points as the only other shooter in double figures. Sam Muer scored nine points and pulled down seven boards.

Perham shot a healthy 58 percent from the field and 30 percent from three, where the Jackets made six from long range.

Perham won the rebound battle grabbing 33 boards to Frazee's 21. The Hornets turned the ball over 11 times under duress of a Perham press. Perham gave the ball up five times.

Cory Wokasch led the Hornets scoring eight points.

Perham is 4-1 in the Heart O' Lakes Conference and 8-4 overall. Frazee is 0-4 and 3-9.
