Football: Beachy, Schmitz, Jordahl, Glines named all-conference

Four Perham football players were named to the Heart O’ Lakes All-Conference team.

Quarterback Eli Beachy, running back Payton Jordahl, defensive back Tyler Glines and linebacker Cole Schmitz head the list.

Glines led the conference in interceptions this season with six.

Schmitz led Perham in tackles by a wide margin with 108 and was third in the HOL and fourth all-time in a season for a Perham defender.

Jordahl scored 14 touchdowns to lead Perham with 86 points scored. He was fourth in rushing in the HOL with 771 yards in conference play. For the season, Jordahl rushed for 952 yards and was third on the team in tackles with 55.

Beachy was second in scoring for the Yellowjackets with seven touchdowns. He rushed for 561 yards and threw for 420.

Glines and Jordahl received another distinction each being named the HOL North Conference- Most Valuable Defensive (Glines) and HOL North Conference- Most Valuable Offensive Back (Jordahl).

Dan Ingebrand, Austin Erickson, Brekden Kovar, Jon Siira, and Hayden Sturdevant were named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
