BBB: Perham clobbers Park Rapids

PARK RAPIDS — The Perham Yellowjackets padded statistics in an 83-29 running time blowout of Park Rapids (8-4) in non-conference boys basketball action Tuesday.

Perham put the game away early leading by 34 points at halftime, a lead doubling the first half offensive output of the Panthers 54-17.

Nick Bahls scored 21 points to lead the Jackets. Eli Beachy scored 11 points, had eight assists and three steals. Sam Muer scored 11.

Tyler Glines flirted with a triple-double recording seven assists to go with eight points and eight rebounds.

Sam Willenbring scored eight points.

Perham earned their 10th victory on the season. The Yellowjackets are 10-4 heading into Thursday’s game with Heart O’ Lakes conference opponent Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (5-6).

The Rebels have dropped three straight but can be dangerous having handed Pelican Rapids (9-1) their only loss 53-41 in Glyndon December 20.

Perham is 3-2 in the HOL, a half game back of Barnesville (4-2), a game back of Pelican (4-1) and a game up on D-G-F (2-3).
