BBB: Yellowjackets rout Patriots, play Thursday for HOL title share

PEQUOT LAKES — Perham allowed only 10 points to the Patriots in the first half and blew open the game early leading 44-10 at the break in a Section 8AA victory on the road 71-33 Tuesday evening.

Sam Muer led Perham with 19 points. Hunter Salathe scored 16 and Eli Beachy added 10.

CJ Borleis was the only Patriot in double figures with 11 points.

Nine Yellowjackets scored in the game.

Perham improves to 17-7 overall heading into a huge game Thursday at Barnesville to end the regular season and decide which of the two teams will share the Heart O’ Lakes Conference title with Hawley.

Both teams are 8-3 in the HOL. Barnesville is 18-4 overall.

In the prior meeting Dec. 20, Tyler Glines sunk a spinner in the lane at the buzzer of overtime to give Perham a 66-64 victory in Perham.
