FOSSTON — The Perham girls Swimming team picked up a victory on the road defeating the hosts 57-43.

Finnja Becker set school record in backstroke in taking first place in that event. She also won the 200 IM in section qualifying time. Natalie Murphy took first in the 50 & 100 Freestyle, qualifying for sections in both events. Jackie Hanson was first in the 100 Butterfly and second in the IM, also both section qualifying times. Anna Dale took first in the 200 Freestyle with a section qualifying time, and was also first in the 500 Free.

BRECKENRIDGE — The non-air conditioned gymnasium in Breckenridge provided a steamy arena for the red hot Yellowjackets, who won their third consecutive volleyball match to start the season defeating the Cowgirls 3-0.

Perham won by set scores of 25-18, 25-11 and 25-20. Perham is on the road to one of the most competitive tournaments of the early season in Marshall with games scheduled the entirety of the weekend.
