Perham sweeps Detroit Lakes 3-0

DETROIT LAKES — The Perham Yellowjackets continued their outstanding play completing the season sweep of Detroit Lakes 3-0 Monday night on the Lakers' home floor.

After a back-and-forth first set, which Perham won 25-20, the Yellowjackets were in high gear cruising through sets two and three by scores of 25-11 and 25-14, with a number of junior varsity players seeing action in a controlled victory.

Perham improves to 13-1 on the season and have won 10 consecutive matches. The Yellowjackets deafeated Detroit Lakes in Perham September 3 in the second game of the seaason by a score of 3-1.

The Yellowjackets will be back on the road Tuesday night at Hawley for a match-up that will determine the early leader in the Heart O' Lakes Conference. Both the Nuggets (7-1) and Perham are 2-0 in HOL play.
