Tennis: Wolverines sweep Yellowjackets

WADENA — The Wolverines swept Perham 7-0 in girls' tennis Thursday.

The two-spot in singles and doubles featured matches with tiebreaking sets to decide the outcome.

Maddy Hinojos defeated Perham's Josie Beachy 10-7 afther Beachy won the first set 6-3 and Hinojos answered with a 6-4 second set win.

At two-doubles. Sarah Moen and Abby Wegscheid defeated Perham's Makayla Kroenke and Alyssa Moris 12-10 in the third set tiebreaker after Perham'd duo won 6-3 in the first and Moen and Wegscheid answered 6-2 in the second set.
