City leaders are proposing the addition of complete sidewalks, new lighting fixtures, clear road markings and crosswalks designated by red concrete.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the PACC was held May 13, 1988. On hand for the ceremony were, left to right: Fred Sailer, Sherman Mandt, Jim Ahlfs, Walt Simonson, Greg Rise, Fred Huebsch, Donna Polensky, Terry Karkela and Ken Nelson. Construction on the $2 million facility went on through the summer and fall of that year.

These immense white pine logs were delivered to the former Ford auto dealership building last winter, where Perham students worked on the logs for a proposed U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service structure.
