A shed in rural New York Mills was destroyed by a fire on Feb. 27. No one was injured, but equipment and tools were lost. The fire’s cause remains under investigation.

Cleanup has begun where an R.D. Offutt Co. potato warehouse once stood northwest of Perham. The warehouse burned down in a fire on Jan. 21 and 22. These potatoes now must be hauled to Gwinner, N.D. for disposal, said Perham Fire Chief Mark Schmidt.
