Emergency personnel from the Perham fire, police and EMS departments were on the scene of a mock crash outside of Perham High School last Thursday, along with a member of the Minnesota State Patrol and a Life Flight helicopter out of Fargo, N.D. Several students volunteered to play ‘victims’ of the crash, while their peers looked on.

On a nice day just a week before school let out for the summer, nine pre-calculus students took to the street to draw a giant Unit Circle in chalk as a part of their trigonometry unit. Vandals broke two windows out of a doorway and spray-painted graffiti on an exterior area of the school on Wednesday. Police believe the vandalism is separate from a senior prank that happened at the school that same morning.

Sailer has worked in the Perham-Dent School District since 1979, and as Activities Director since 1997. In his final year, he was named Minnesota State Class A Athletic Administrator of the Year.

Students from the Perham High School advanced welding class stand with the Yellowjackets motorcycle that they custom built along with Lil’ Evil Inkorpor8ted. The bike will be in St. Paul this weekend to be seen and judged in the Donnie Smith Bike Show and competition.
