Roseau, which beat D-G-F 89-77 on Dec. 9, improves to 28-0, while the Rebels' season ends with a 19-10 record.

FARGO — A man accused of raping and murdering a Fargo woman pleaded guilty Wednesday, March 1, in Clay County District Court to Class AA felony murder. Landon Lauwagie, 23, was accused in court documents of asphyxiating Cory Terlecky, 40, while he sexually assaulted her on May 14, 2016. Police discovered Terlecky's body at her apartment on May 15. Blood and other evidence suggested she was killed in her home, court documents state.
FREEPORT, Minn. — A Freeport man rescued Feb. 28 from a skid loader that was submerged in an abandoned manure pit has died. According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, Duane Herzog, 46, was operating the skid loader when it went through ice that was covering a manure pit on Herzog's farm site. The skid loader was completely submerged and Herzog was trapped inside for 20 minutes. Rescue personnel were able to rescue Herzog, who was transported by Life Link helicopter to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he later died.
When two vehicles hit head-on at the intersection of Highway 59 and County Road 6 in Detroit Lakes just after 4 p.m. Wednesday, employees of the County 6 BP & Bait had a front row seat to the accident and dialed 911. One employee of the gas station said he heard a loud bang, not realizing where the noise was coming from until he looked up and saw what appeared to be a car doing a 360 before coming to a stop. The car collided with an SUV, and both front ends of the vehicles were smashed in.
FARGO -- A person died Tuesday morning, Feb. 28, after being pinned between two vehicles at a business in south Fargo.
KANABEC COUNTY - A sheriff's deputy for Kanabec County in Minnesota was taken to the hospital after he hit a cow with his squad car. Thirty-year-old Dpty. Daniel Steven was looking for a cow reported on the road. As Steven was driving around, the cow ran out of the ditch and was hit. Airbags went off in the squad car. Steven was taken to a hospital, but is expected to be ok. It's unknown if the cow survived.

Teddy Raymond Millage Jr., 24, of Fergus Falls has been charged in Becker County District Court with two felony counts of fifth-degree controlled substance crime. According to court records, on Feb. 4, law enforcement officers were looking for a red car occupied by a suspect in a forgery case. A trooper on Highway 59 in Becker County saw a vehicle with an object hanging from the rear-view mirror. He pulled the vehicle over. Millage was driving and was arrested on a warrant.
Jeremy Lehi Labbe, 38, of Frazee has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony third-degree controlled substance crime and felony fifth-degree controlled substance crime.
