Joseph "Joe" William Klier, 61, of Clear Lake, S.D., died Monday, June 22, 2009 at Sanford Deuel County Medical Center, Clear Lake. He was born Sept. 26, 1947 to Gerhardt and Matilda (Winzel) Klier in Park Rapids.
Lyle Russell Ufer, 88, of rural Truman, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. He was born May 25, 1921 to Paul and Lena (Zeimer ) Ufer on a farm in Lake Fremont Township, near Dunnell. He was baptized into the Christian faith at St. John's Lutheran Church in Dunnell. He later moved to Fairmont, then to Enderlin, N.D. for a short time until moving back to Fairmont. He received his education in Fairmont Schools. He confirmed his Christian faith at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fairmont. The family then moved to Waverly Township. On Nov.
Lita May Glenn, 78, of Walker, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at May Creek Senior Living Center in Walker. She was born September 23, 1930 in Gary, Ind. to Charles and Yolanda (Ferril) Stiefenhoefer and graduated from high school in Gary. She married Ray Thomas Glenn on Aug. 27, 1949. In 1957 they moved to Cohasset and then a year later to Laporte.
Evelyn Mildred Beckerleg, 83, of Dilworth, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, N.D. She was born Sept. 8, 1925 in Adrian, N.D. to David William "Bill" Dally and Grace (Fliescher) Dally. On Aug. 25, 1945 she married Johnie E. Beckerleg in Marion, N.D. Shortly after they married, they moved to Fargo, N.D. and lived in the Fargo-Moorhead area for 63 years. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she belonged to Catholic Daughters and Christian Mothers.
Theodore "Ted" John Haberer, 78, of Park Rapids, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Diamond Willow Care Center in Park Rapids. He was born Feb. 25, 1931 in Park Rapids to John George and Mary "Stella" (Potter) Haberer. He was baptized Sept. 30, 1931 and confirmed on July 8, 1945 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Park Rapids. He grew up and went to school in Park Rapids, where he graduated from high school in 1949. He began working at Fick Rexall Drug Store in Park Rapids as a high school student.
Elizabeth Lillian Ullery, 94, of Park Rapids, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at her home. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Monday, June 29 at Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Park Rapids. An obituary will appear in a future edition of the Enterprise.

Vernon Henry Vogt, 96, of Arizona and Minnesota, died Monday, June 8, 2009. He was born May 26, 1913 in Grand Mound, Iowa to Carl and Tina Vogt. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1931-36 aboard the USS Tennessee following high school graduation. He married H. Elizabeth Burlingame in Clinton, Iowa on May 26, 1937 and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary prior to her death in 1997. He was employed in Clinton at the Curtis Co. and Interstate Power Co. before retiring in 1974. They lived in Clinton and Camanche, Iowa, before moving to Arizona in the early 1990s.
George Henry McGrane, 86, died Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Diamond Willow in Park Rapids. He was born April 18, 1923 in Osage, Carsonville Township, Becker County to John "Jack" and Ella McGrane. He grew up on a farm between Osage and Ponsford and graduated from Park Rapids Area High School in 1941. He farmed with his father and also drove a school bus for Linnell School for 10 years while farming. He married Barbara Ella Johnson, of Crookston, on June 14, 1945.
Robert Charles Mathew Jannusch, 80, of Menahga, died Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Green Pine Acres Nursing Home in Menahga. He was born to Robert F. and Etta (Anderson) Jannusch May 2, 1929 in Chicago, Ill. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith on June 9, 1929 and confirmed his faith on April 18, 1942. He attended Concordia Parochial School through the eighth grade and the Lutheran Institute High School, graduating in 1947. He was employed by a national tailoring company and also attended Northwestern University. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on Jan.
