Reba W. Doll, 95, of Perham, MN, died Thursday, July 16, 2009, at the Perham Memorial Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 21, at 1 p.m. at St. Henry's Catholic Church, Perham, with Father Joe Herzing officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Reba was born on May 8, 1914, in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Frank and Sarah (Berryman) Wesley. On June 15, 1946, she was united in marriage to Christopher Doll in St. Paul, MN.
David Anderson was born on July 7, 1936 in Odessa, MN, to Sam and Lona (Holliston) Anderson. David grew up and attended school in Graceville, MN. He operated a mink farm in Montevideo for a short time before moving to Portland, OR where he was employed in the shipyards. Nancy Ann Even was born on April 22, 1943, in Minneapolis, MN to Clarence and Mildred (Eklund) Even. Nancy graduated from Hopkins High School with the class of 1961.
Barbara Avery of Sebago, ME, died unexpectedly on July 12, 2009, at Kindred Hospital, Peabody, MA, due to complications from C.O.P.D. and pulmonary fibrosis. She was 57 years old. Barbara was born in New York Mills, MN, on May 31, 1952, the daughter of John and Emmy Lou (Ringdahl) Steblay. She was a special education teacher for about 30 years, most of which were spent at Deering High School and Gorham Middle School. She volunteered at many functions, but her favorite volunteer activity was doing work for the Bonny Eagle High School drama club.
Memorial services were held for George Whaley on Saturday, July 18, at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Richville, MN with Pastor Rod Tornquist officiating. The hymns were sung by the congregation and accompanied by Carol Tornquist. Honorary pallbearers were all of George's grandchildren. George was laid to rest in Richville Cemetery, Richville. George William Whaley was born on May 12, 1930, in Dead Lake Township, rural Richville, to Roy E. and Ella Mae (Shaffer) Whaley.
Funeral services were held for Robert Dornbusch, 82, of Perham, MN, on Friday, July 17, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Corliss Township, rural Perham with Pastor Del Meyer officiating. The hymns were sung by the congregation and accompanied by Dale Lubitz. Pallbearers were his nephews, Duane Dornbusch, Donald Dornbusch, Daniel Dornbusch, Randy Dornbusch, Gary Dornbusch and Jaymey Dornbusch. Honorary pallbearers were all of Robert's nieces and nephews. Military honors were provided by Charles D. Center V.F.W. Post #3289 of New York Mills, MN.

Harry A. Pool, age 95, of Stillwater, MN died July 1 of congestive heart failure at home surrounded by loved ones. Reunited at last with his beloved wife, Marjorie. Also preceded in death by his son, Michael and grandson, Chris. Survived by children, Marge (Pool) Jacobsen, Richard (Darlene) Pool of Richville and William Pool of New York Mills; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Margaret L. Erickson, 88, of Ottawa died 5:57 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2009 at her residence. She was born July 13, 1921 in Corliss Twp., MN to the late Leo and Bertha (Miller) Fischer.
William Egan, age 82 of Henning, MN died on Monday July 13, 2009 in Henning. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Thursday July 16, 2009 at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Henning with Fr. Dan Walz officiating. Music is provided by Paul Malecha. Visitation is at the Belmont Funeral Home in Henning on Wednesday July 15, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM and will resume for an hour prior to services at the church. John F. Rice, 74, died peacefully at home surrounded by family, after a very brief battle with cancer, on Saturday, July 4, 2009. A memorial service will be held at St. Henry's Catholic Church, Perham, MN, on Friday, July 17, 2009 beginning at 11:30 am. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
