A Battle Lake man was injured Monday when his pickup truck left Highway 78 in Douglas County and went into the ditch.
Roger Eugene Barth, 58, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Fergus Falls hospital, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
He was northbound on Highway 78 in a 2021 Ram 1500 Classic when it left the roadway and entered the ditch, according to the patrol. He was wearing a seatbelt. The airbags did not deploy. No alcohol was involved.
The crash was reported shortly after 3 p.m. on dry pavement in Lund Township. Douglas County and Grant County deputies, Evansville firefighters, and an Ashby ambulance crew assisted at the scene.
