Shayne M. Hamann, a 1991 graduate of Perham High School, a 1995 graduate of Concordia College of Moorhead, and a 1998 William Mitchell College of Law graduate, has been named a Minnesota Law and Politics Magazine Rising Star fro 2010. This is the fourth straight year that Ms. Hamann has earned this recognition.
Minnesota Law and Politics Rising Stars is the product of a rigorous selection process that is based on peer recognition and professional achievement.
Rising Stars are viewed by their peers as flourishing attorneys who are 40 years of age or under. Fewer than 2.5 percent of qualifying attorneys receive this honor in the state of Minnesota each year.
Ms. Hamann is a senior associate attorney at Arthur Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala, P.A., in Minneapolis. She specializes in the defense of personal injury. She handles claims ranging from automobile litigation, no-fault and rental law, to insurance coverage, premise liability, commercial transportation and general liability. She is Co-Chair of the firm's Automobile Law and NO-Fault Practice Groups. Ms. Hamann resides in Little Canada, Minn., with her husband Dan Werner and their three children.
