Perham Health has been named a Bronze Bicycle Friendly Business by the League of American Bicyclists, for a commitment to transform American workplaces to be more welcoming to customers and employees who bike, according to a news release.

"To support our employee wellness efforts, the Perham Health Foundation has granted funds to purchase a small bike fleet for employee," Chuck Hofius, Perham Health CEO, said in the release. "The bikes will be available for employees to use on their breaks and to commute between our two campuses. We further promote employee wellness opportunities with an on-campus paved bike/walking trail, biking education, and safe bike storage to make biking easier for employees."

In addition to the bike fleet, expected to bein place in the spring, the grant included a bike maintenance station installed on the Perham Health campus for employees and the community to use.
