Program aims to install furnaces for those in need

Families in need could be selected for the "Feel the Love Program" to stay warm this winter.

Esser Plumbing & Heating of Lakes Country has partnered with Lennox for the program, which installs furnaces at no cost for those in need, according to a news release.

Loss of job, health issues, sudden unplanned expenses and other reasons can suddenly put a family in a tough financial position, according to the release. These are families that are not usually receiving any special benefits from government programs.

Installation will include a new, high-efficiency furnace.

Nominations are due by Aug. 31, and can be made at or by contacting Esser Plumbing & Heating. Installation will be in early October.
