One essential store in Perham left but was quickly replaced by another. In early May, OK Tire Store — which was located at 43945 Fort Thunder Road — left the Perham community; now, a new business, Brian's Repair and Tire Service, sits in the same building.
With locations in Underwood, Rothsay, Brandon and now Perham, Brian's Repair offers similar services as the business before it. Service and Store Manager Steve Beltz said they work with tires on pretty much any vehicle, including commercial trucks and farm equipment.
They also do general automotive and light truck repair, such as oil changes and realignments. Though Beltz made sure to clarify that, while they offer tire services on commercial trucks, they don't complete general repairs on that type of vehicle.

Despite the shift in businesses several months ago, Brian's Repair has seen success in Perham, Beltz said. Before he became the service manager, he worked as a tire salesperson in the area. Prior to the opening of Brian's Repair, he used his experience to speak with community members he knew and previous clients of OK Tire, informing them of the change.
"We've been extremely busy," Beltz said. "It was a crazy summer and busy into fall. It's been very good."
The changes worked out, and now Brian's Repair is here to stay and offer essential vehicle repairs.
Beltz wanted to emphasize his thanks to clients for the business' success. "We're grateful for all the clients who've stuck with us, and we welcome all the new ones who've come on board," he said.
Sometimes, they're even booked out for a full week. This is because of a high demand for vehicle repair in the area and the need to keep time slots open for emergency car repairs like flat tires, Beltz said.
