Celebrate the winter solstice with a free music festival in NYM

To celebrate the winter solstice on Dec. 21, the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center — located at 24 North Main Avenue — is hosting the Longest Night Music Festival, which is free and open to all. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7 p.m.

The longest night of the season is fast approaching, meaning the days will only get longer from there. To celebrate the winter solstice on Dec. 21, the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center — located at 24 North Main Avenue — will host its Longest Night Music Festival, which will be free and open to all.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7 p.m.

Local artists will play music as attendees participate in holiday activities and enjoy refreshments.

The cultural center's board and staff request that all attendees wear masks to follow COVID safety guidelines.
