Leigh Shebeck is the new executive director of the Perham Area Community Center.

"I am very excited about this opportunity to help this great staple of the Perham area continue to thrive and grow," Shebeck said in a news release from the center.

Shebeck is a "visionary leader who brings to the PACC deep experience in civic engagement, youth development and family services," according to the release, "and has received numerous commendations for his community involvement."

He has more than 21 years of experience in advertising, marketing, public relations, strategic planning, fundraising and budgeting, according to the release. Shebeck enjoys running and biking in Ottertail and spending time with his family.

Betty Murphy has been recognized for serving as interim executive director over the last year.
