Luke and Christina (Rethemeier) Schmitz of Bemidji, Minn., are proud to announce the birth of their son, Caleb Lucas Schmitz, born at 11:39 p.m. on Oct. 20, 2011, at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Grandparents are Carol and Arnie Rethemeier and Tim and Nancy Schmitz, all of Perham.
