'Christmas Box' author to speak in Fergus Falls

Richard Paul Evans, author of "The Christmas Box," and other books, will speak Saturday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. at Kennedy Secondary School auditorium in Fergus Falls. A book signing will follow at 3 p.m.

"The Christmas Box," Evan's first book, was the inspiration for the Angel of Hope parks in Fergus Falls and Perham. He wrote the book for his two young daughters, hoping they would understand the depth of his love for them. There are eight million books in print. He has sold more than 17 million books, and written 26 novels. Four of his books have also been made into television movies.
