Church cancels community dinner

COVID-19 has prompted Northwoods Life Church to cancel its community Thanksgiving.

Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Dr. Deborah Birx, the Trump administration’s senior coordinator in the COVID fight, have both warned that Thanksgiving gatherings could spread the virus. (Pixabay)

The 2020 Community Thanksgiving meal put on by Northwoods Life Church has been canceled, according to a news release from Northwoods Life Church. The free community meal planned to be hosted by the church will not be held because of community health concerns brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
