Each spring and fall new memory blocks are added to Perham's Angel of Hope Memorial Park, which honors children of all ages who have died. The 2016 spring order deadline is Wednesday, May 11.

The cost for a memory block is $200. On each block there will be a place for three lines of information. Perham area Angel of Hope Memorial Park, located at the corner of 3rd Avenue & 6th Avenue Northeast, was dedicated on Sept. 24, 2004.

The idea for the park was born from the deepest grief any parent, sibling, grandparent, extended family member or friend will ever feel-the death of a child.

Order forms can be found on the back of the brochures available at the Chamber of Commerce, New Creation Lutheran Church or contact anyone on the committee.

For anyone that would like to help, volunteers to work in the garden at the park are needed.

"We don't have a specific date to work," said Brenda Thompson. "We can do it whenever we can; people can call us." said Brenda Thompson.

The committee also welcomes volunteers who want to help out at the annual Candlelight Vigil held each year at 7 p.m. on Dec. 6.
