The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center is continuing its 2020 outdoor concert series at the New York Mills Sculpture Park / The Barn, located at the intersection of Highway 10 and Highway 67 in New York Mills, this Friday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m. with a concert by Good Morning Bedlam, according to a news release from the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center.
Good Morning Bedlam is made up of three Minneapolis-based musicians playing their own unique brand of “furious folk," the release says. Their shows are known for their contagious energy, with members careening about the stage, jumping, and dancing with a wild playfulness.
This event is open to all. Freewill donations are welcome to cover artist fees and support future life music; suggested $10 adult and $5 student. Cash bar and snacks will be available. Those in attendance should bring their own chairs, blankets, and/or picnic. The event will have several patio heaters but also request that people spread out, so please dress for the unpredictable Minnesota fall weather.
The event will be following COVID-19 guidelines, including physical distancing. Attendees are asked to seat themselves in family groups, distanced from others. Face coverings and hand sanitizers are encouraged and available. Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc., should not attend.
