The farmer's market in Perham is coming back for 2021. Vendors should look out for a small change: due to COVID-19, vendors need to fill out an application so the city is aware of who's participating.
Anyone who's interested can stop by the chamber building at 185 East Main Street for a copy of the application. It can also be found on the Chamber's website. According to City Manager Jon Smith, the Chamber would also be willing to send it in an email.
"(The farmer's market) is a good thing to allow local farms and people who make their own products to have a place to sell them," Smith said. "It's good for people to have access to that, locally grown products."
It is up to individual vendors to make sure they're adhering to COVID-19 guidelines.
The farmer's market will be every Wednesday and Friday in May through October in NP Park next to the Post Office on Main Street. On Wednesdays, it will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Fridays, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
