Lakes area Cub Scouts have annual day camp

Each year, lakes area Cub Scouts attend a day camp called Twilight Camp, hosted by the Northern Lights Council. 2021's twilight camp was held on June 11-12 at Holy Cross Church in Butler. This year's theme was "Weird Science."

Cub Scouts made wooden tool boxes, stamped leather, made rockets, shot BB guns, learned archery, made ice cream and completed a nature scavenger hunt. The evening ended with a "Weird Science" themed campfire where two scientists entertained the group.
